The Black Adder is a traditional British pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere and a modern aesthetic, located in the center of the island of Rhodes, Greece. Its name is a reference to a British sitcom comedy of the 80s, the Blackadder, set in different periods of British history between the 15th and the 20th century. The series has not only inspired the design of the space but its cocktails as well, as many of the them have been named after its characters.
The large bar and tables encourage people to mingle and communicate, while the concrete walls and floors add an industrial and old-fashioned feel to the space. Snake-shaped ceiling lights, patchwork chairs and wall-mounted butterflies made of vinyl records are the main features of the decoration. The bathroom sinks resemble vertically placed, oversized soaps and a huge hanger defines the checkroom area.
