This is a first-class dining restaurant that uses contemporary techniques to offer traditional but at the same time unique Greek-Corfiot cuisine. Situated near a small village in Corfu, Etrusco is surrounded by a green garden where Ettore Botrini – the owner and chef of the restaurant – chooses the vegetables, flowers and fruits of the menu. His access to such produce is what has helped him develop a culinary philosophy and dishes such as smoked risotto with shrimps and sourish white heart cherries, savory bresaola with oil and chive and octopus carpaccio filled with a herbaceous mayonnaise-like sauce. Inspired by nature, his cooking takes traditional recipes a few steps further, resulting to simple, subtle and natural flavors, in a friendly and warm environment.
Etrusco was among Restaurant Magazine’s top 100 world restaurants for 2007-2008 and won the Golden Chef’s Hat Award for ‘Best restaurant in Greece’ for the second year in a row in 2014.
