Between Manos Xatzidakis square and Kallimarmaro, on Ironda street, there is a neoclassical building where two young and talented chefs meet. Elvi Dimitris Zyba and Nikos Vorias attempt to highlight the modern Greek cuisine.
With a long cooking experience in the local Greek gastronomic scene and the finest cuisines abroad and after three years of common course, they set a new and unique goal to implement the idea of Alficon. The restaurant’s name is inspired by barley (alfi) and the icons that decorate the restaurant, and it focuses on the combination of food and beverages. In collaboration with small local producers throughout Greece, Alficon aims at the promotion of pure Greek tastes and natural Greek wines.
