The Zeus and Dione SS 2015 collection (‘In the Adyton of Nature’) refers to the enigmatic and intriguing journey through the weakness of the human soul to the great and terrifying powers of nature. Zeus+Dione transfigures the symbols of the ancient adyton, a mysterious architectural feature with enclosed lines, semi-covered views defined by the interplay of light and darkness. It now appears in the present collection as a symbolic reflection of natural space and color with restricted forms and panels. The color palette of the SS2015 collection spans from bright off-white to black, including shades of crocus yellow, sea blue and sage. The fine textures in silk, linen and cotton are embellished with metallic threads of gold and silver. Paneled prints are introduced for the first time and fine, structured tailoring highlights the silhouettes of the garments.
