George Tsioutsias created this ad for the official Vivienne Westwood Loves campaign, highlighting the designer’s turbulent manifestos and elegant nonconformity, as well as the traditionalism of her collaborators. In under a minute, the film brings together British high fashion and political activism: scenes of a couple in a gloomy and romantic atmosphere are interrupted by protests, eventually leading to the couple dressing up to take part in them themselves. The film finishes with a scene that features numerous posters in favor of political, social and environmental activism.
Tsioutsias has worked across a wide range of formats including music and fashion videos, commercials and branded content, for clients such as Hearst, SHOWstudio, Microsoft, Nokia, SXSW, Sony BMG, Strictly Rhythm, BBC, MTV, Ted Baker, Coca Cola and many more. His work has been shown in Cannes, at the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris, the Barbican in London and has been featured in publications like Stash, Creative Review and IdN, to name a few.
