The AW15 ‘Birds of Paradise’ collection of Mi-Ro Designers is inspired by the role of Marlene Dietrich as Shanghai Lily in ‘Shanghai Express’, the motifs in the plumage of paradise birds, the books of Evelyn Waugh ‘Brides head Revisited’ and ‘Bright Young Things’, the art of striptease, the notion of Deduction and the role of a Woman as Siren in Mythology. Fluid lines in shades of white, gris-perle, Bordeaux and ruby red, minimal shapes in a patchwork of glowing paillettes, ‘jolie madame’ cocktail dresses that invite the wearers to a Charleston dance, in a daydreaming parallel reality. Located in the center of Athens, Mi-Ro design clothes and wedding dresses, prêt a porter de luxe and haute couture, putting particular emphasis on raw materials and carefully giving a special finish to clothes. Their collections are marked with their dynamic style and their absolute feminine cut.
