The Portraits collection is a lighting collection, mainly inspired by the artist Wassily Kandinsky. Using timeless materials and pure shapes, the collection strives to capture the balance of seemingly independent parts, seeking to reveal contemporary – and timeless – lighting portraits.
The collection uses the geometric abstraction as experimentation tool, aiming to trigger an instinctive interaction with the viewers through an unorthodox balance. Portraits collection was released in 2018.
Periclis Frementitis is a Greek designer based in Greece. In 2010, he decided to move to London and work on Lighting Design, where his passion for fine arts, aesthetics, and materials led him to the Product Design field. In 2015, he founded his own design workshop in Greece, HIGHDOTS, and began exploring the theme of beauty as a timeless aspect.
