Petros Voulgaris designed these Berlin-style, illustration-based posters for concerts of well-known Greek musicians and bands, such as Socratis Malamas, Giannis Aggelakas and Thanasis Papakonstantinou.
The designs were the outcome of his collaboration with Mixing Roots Productions, an independent productions network consisting of a creative group of people, who specialize in music events, using their long experience resulting from working in theaters and art festivals, and in the design and cultural management fields in general.
Inspired by photography-based posters found in the streets of the German capital, most of the posters stand out for their vibrant, red and turquoise colors, part because of the revolutionary lyrics some of the bands use, but most of all to achieve a pop-out effect and prevail in the visual noise of the grey Berlin walls. The end result creates a unique, eye-catchy identity.
