KAN Atelier
KAN is an acronym for: Kin Architectural Narratives. Phonetically, kan appears in many languages with multiple meanings, such as ear, snake, water, teapot and others; it is a vessel of meaning. KAN atelier is a multi-awarded architecture practice based in Kypseli, Athens. The design process aims to combine functionalism with narrative-driven design to create a family of diverse projects spanning scales and programs. Established in 2019 by Evangelos Pournaras, KAN atelier has worked with many contributors such as Nella Golanda, Amalia Vranaki, Caterina Margariti, Georgia Margariti, Christos Georgios Kritikos, Antigone Lampadiari and others.
