Giorgos Georgiou
Giorgos Georgiou was born in Egio, Greece, in 1978. He completed my studies in Photography at the University of Central England, Birmingham, and moved forward to Visual Communication (University of Central England). After graduation, he worked for a few years in the industry, and then he decided to work as a freelancer. He has traveled through Asia, Europe, and Latin America documenting everyday life and working on social and political issues. His work has been published among others in Der Spiegel, New Yorker, Financial Times, The Guardian, Deutsche Welle, ZDF, Le Nouvel Observateur. He is currently based in Athens, Greece.
