Following a modern interpretation of ancient pottery forms and ceramics, e+a ceramic studio produces handcrafted earthenware inspired by the functional relationship between man and objects throughout history. Each object is handcrafted, and hence consists a unique collectible piece – the perfect fusion of functionality and aesthetics. The studio was established by Ema Ramanskaite, whose handmade work is defined by in humor, simplicity and hand-building techniques. Influenced by the light and colors, Ema enjoys using a multicolor palette and short stories to create effect. Alongside her, Aris Tabatsikos’ influences from historical shapes, comic books and physics result to sculptural and functional ceramics.
