Neraw is redefining the intersection of ceramics and botany through its innovative concept of “planted ceramics”. Founded by Giorgos and Konstantinos, this pioneering brand merges high-quality ceramics with carefully selected plants—primarily cacti and succulents—to create unique sculptural pieces that bring the beauty of Greek landscapes indoors. Neraw’s collections, inspired by Greece’s diverse ecosystems, include White Corals and Ashes from Messenian Olive Trees, each capturing the essence of its natural surroundings. “Our goal was to transport a piece of the mountains into our homes,” the founders explain, merging their artistic and botanical expertise to create miniature landscapes that provide an escape from city life. Located at 18 Frearion Street in Votanikos, the Neraw studio serves as a vibrant hub for creativity. The ground floor showcases their planted ceramics, while the upper-level hosts workshops that encourage community engagement with both ceramics and nature. Neraw’s philosophy emphasizes sustainability and connection with nature, crafting not just beautiful objects, but a lifestyle that celebrates the harmony between art and the environment.
