Tucked into the winding streets of Mykonos, Soulmates by Studio Kisko reimagines a once-utilitarian space into a spritzeria that reflects the island’s rich contrasts: land and sea, heritage and cosmopolitan life, party culture and Cycladic tradition. Architect and Studio Kisko founder Fragkiskos Sarris combines rugged Cycladic textures with contemporary forms. The centerpiece is a pair of sculptural concrete counters with soft, wave-worn edges. Patterned tile flooring, dark-stained wooden shelves, and marble fragments (spolia) echo traditional Aegean architecture, while curated lighting adds a warm, atmospheric glow. Above, a hand-painted ceiling mural by Christina Mandilari (Naked Summers) celebrates marine life and the Cycladic light, evoking memories of Greek summers.Soulmates is a meeting point for locals and travelers, blending Mykonos’s timeless spirit with modern design.
