Mavili Loft by ADD Architecture Studio marks the transformation of a once-divided apartment in Athens into a spacious and chic haven. The key to its appeal lies in the smart use of light and furniture design, creating a calming and uncluttered atmosphere. Situated on the top floor with a view of the city skyline, the loft cleverly combines the living room, kitchen and dining area. The design maximizes natural light and openness, with carefully chosen furniture giving each space its own identity. Noteworthy pieces like the Ant Chair by Arne Jacobsen and the Slit Table by Hay add a touch of sophistication. ADD Architecture Studio designed a custom sofa for the living room, adding to the overall attention to detail.
The kitchen steals the show, using a mix of dark wood and warm marble to set the tone for the entire loft. The existing fireplace is integrated seamlessly into the new design, creating a cozy ambiance. Stepping onto the terrace, the Tio Dining Chair & Tio Table and Ferm’s Desert Chair create a perfect outdoor spot with a view of the Athens Tower. Inside, the loft offers a master bedroom in calming blue tones, featuring a clever wooden headboard that serves multiple functions. The guest room takes inspiration from Japanese design, making the most of the available space. Adding a personal touch, the loft is adorned with objects from the owner’s travels to North Africa. Paired with peach-toned walls, these elements create a distinctive character.
