Located in Athens’ bustling center, the L-A-V Apartment was originally built in 1964 and reimagined by Isola Studio, who breathed new life into its aging structure to cater to a young woman’s lifestyle. The renovation centered on maximizing communal spaces and enhancing natural light, resulting in an inviting blend of kitchen, dining, and living areas. Walls were demolished, boundaries dissolved and pathways redefined to foster seamless interaction and fluid movement. A focal point emerged in the kitchen, where Roso Portogallo marble and white wood cabinets create an elegant backdrop for social gatherings. Bedrooms turned into cozy havens, adorned with playful touches that reflect the resident’s personality, while the living and dining spaces blend custom-made furniture with warm oak floors and subtle lighting to evoke a sense of comfort and intimacy. Stepping onto the terrace, a tranquil oasis unfolds, framed by terrazzo tiles and a metallic pergola—a cool setting for al fresco gatherings against the backdrop of urban life.
