A private 2-bedroom residence seamlessly transforms into a captivating pop-up exhibition space, designed exclusively for a couple with a passion for art. The heart of the residence lies in its open central area, where living spaces merge to reveal an unending view of the lush park surrounding the apartment. One of the main elements is the study—an intimate capsule enveloped in industrial glass. Nestled strategically within a corner of the apartment, it takes on the dual role of observer and observed. Its transparency invites connection with the surroundings while offering a secluded sanctuary for contemplation. Art becomes an unexpected journey, revealing itself in hidden corners. Inspired by nature’s resilience in the heart of Athens and the urban charm of Athenian polykatoikies, the design employs natural materials—oak wood, aluminum, marble, industrial steel, and reimagined old mosaics.
