Athens-based studio Join Progress by architect Nikoleta Dinapogia has turned a professional space of 100sqm into a modern apartment for a family of four. Combining industrial style with a feeling of coziness, the design aimed at keeping the ceilings and floor intact, while using openings as the central design axis to achieve natural light and ventilation in all areas.
Setting distinct boundaries between private and living areas, the floor plan evolves into a horizontal line. Storage spaces separate the rooms, except for a large glass construction in the master bedroom which allows natural lighting and ventilation into the space. Grey and white are the two predominant colors, while lighting, plants, and textures are carefully chosen to ensure a warm feeling in the space.
