9010design has recently completed the transformation of an orthodontic clinic in Nea Smyrni, Greece, into a contemporary, child- and youth-friendly space. The renovation challenges the conventional image of a dental clinic, aiming to reduce anxiety and radiate warmth and trust. The design introduces a playful yet professional aesthetic. Dominated by a calming blue palette that aligns with the clinic’s existing branding, the interiors are subtly accented with red for visual interest. Neutral shades of white and greige complete the scheme, enhancing the sense of cleanliness. At the heart of the waiting area lies a deep blue, curved sofa. Its organic shape fosters a natural flow between the reception and other spaces while adding a friendly vibe. Complementing the sofa, the custom-designed reception desk—with its linear geometry—provides a striking contrast. To further enhance the experience, Greek artist Soteur created bespoke murals for the examination rooms. The orthodontic clinic features an abstract mural inspired by the morphology of teeth, blending geometric forms and bold colors to inject energy and dynamism into the space. Meanwhile, the pediatric dental room includes a cheerful mural adorned with emojis and childlike motifs, fostering a welcoming and familiar environment for young patients. 9010design’s approach harmonizes functionality with creativity, offering a multidimensional experience that redefines dental visits.
