CARL is a playful yet elegant bookcase designed by MALVI in the form of an abstract tree whose branches are inclined at a 30° angle, to provide a comfortable and convenient rest for the books that populate them. The bookcase can be used individually or in groups, to create intriguing forest-like walls (or even space dividers) in almost any interior environment, ranging from the purely minimalistic ones to those with more pronounced and complex styles. Constructed without a front/back face, it easily becomes a reference point for each space.
CARL is designed in two different branch variations and is made of medium density fiberboard wood, in a lacquered white and black finish. It also comes in a transparent polycarbonate version, which brings the books to the foreground while the structure integrates seamlessly with the environment.
