Not with the military sense of course, but with a clear desire to observe changes that took time to occur through the constant interaction between humans and landscape. The capturing of only one snapshot of this continually ongoing frame of changes motivates Konstantinos Doumpenidis to consider what it was before and what it will be in the future, placing it in an isolated space and time.
