For Spring/Summer 2025, Zeus + Dione draws inspiration from the timeless allure of the Mediterranean and the sea’s mysteries with the Delphinus collection. Named after the celestial dolphin, a bridge between Poseidon and Amphitrite, the collection explores the sea’s vastness, its adventures, and its deep, cyclical connection to time. Creative director Marios Schwab captures the spirit of this journey through a palette inspired by the sea’s changing hues. Grey metal-infused taffeta mimics rocky shorelines, while silver echoes the gleam of oysters and cream tones reflect pearls. Aquatic shades, from deep green algae to the warm, powerful “Kuro Siwo” blue, mirror the sea’s depths, while iridescent silk and sheer organza blur the lines between sea and sky. The collection features delicate embroideries by Aris Tzonevrakis, bringing to life dolphins, mermaids, and seagulls across denim, linen, and silk. Ruffles evoke aquatic flowers, and pleats reflect the rhythm of seashells. Lacing replaces traditional seams, adding texture reminiscent of the tide’s ebb and flow. Sustainability runs through the collection with natural materials like linen, viscose, and denim, while the signature spathoto motif appears on raffia, leather, and denim accessories. Sculptural jewelry, crafted from gold-plated and platinum silver, celebrates the Mediterranean’s rich fauna.
