Located in the heart of Pagrati, Moden Café occupies a ground-floor space in a 1970s building, blending the area’s history with a contemporary design by Georgios Apostolopoulos Architects. Named after the original nearby pastry workshop, the café honors its roots while embracing modern aesthetics. The design celebrates both the artistry of pastry and the ritual of coffee-making, with clean lines, neutral tones, and tactile textures evoking warmth and familiarity. Bespoke inox and oak seating highlight the café’s offerings, creating an inviting atmosphere. At the heart of the space, the open kitchen and bar act as a central focal point, where pastry serving and coffee making become a transparent performance. The perimeter seating draws visitors inward, fostering connection. A custom-designed, fully open façade blurs the line between interior and exterior, filling the space with natural light and linking it to the city.
