Iraisynn Attinom Architecture Studio renovates Athenian apartment with a Scandinavian-infused Art Deco influence

In a fusion of Scandinavian minimalism and subtle Art Deco accents, Iraisynn Attinom Architecture Studio has transformed a mid-1980s social housing apartment into a modern space tailored for a couple. Entering the apartment, a bespoke division panel crafted from plasterboard and metal plates elegantly separates the living room, dining area, and entrance hall, drawing inspiration from Art Deco motifs with a graceful semicircular opening. The kitchen and dining room now seamlessly flow together, thanks to a metal and glass interior opening that enhances natural light and spatial perception. The bathroom exudes elegance with dark wood and stone tiles, accented by bronze metal details and an artful arc-shaped opening separating the laundry area. The main corridor, once overlooked, now stands out with ambient light and an olive green hue, encased in a metal door with semitransparent glass, adding intrigue to the space. Throughout, natural materials like wood, metal, and glass enhance the minimalist aesthetic, while earthy tones create a soothing backdrop.
