Lithe is a collection of artworks by Anessa Androbik. Born in Berlin, with roots in Tinos island, Anessa now calls Athens home, where her artistic journey began with draped plaster art – a unique medium that became her expressive voice.
Anessa’s debut collection, Aria (2023), reflects her meticulous craftsmanship. Using materials like clay, plaster, sculpture paste, organic elements and acrylic paint, she creates pieces that embody harmony and tranquility. The monochromatic palette and intricate draping of plaster convey a sense of refined elegance.”Aria is my personal journey — inspired by nature, the dance of waves, the power of the wind, and the ever-moving clouds. I aim to capture movement, airiness, and tranquility in each piece,” shares Anessa.
Anessa’s dedication to sustainability is evident in her thoughtful material choices. From her Athens studio, she passionately crafts artworks, starting with smaller pieces and expanding into larger formats. Whether framed in wood or presented “naked” without framing, each piece magnetizes surrounding lights, creating mesmerizing shadows that add warmth and vitality. Anessa welcomes collaboration, offering custom commissions based on individual preferences in size and color.
