Step into the wild beauty of Tasmania with 2WO+1NE=2’s latest collection for the Autumn/Winter ’23-’24 season. Designers Stella Panagopoulou and Valisia Gotsi weave a tale of nature and geometry, inspired by Tasmania’s unique landscapes.
Sculptural elements embrace the upper body, drawing from Gothic-inspired art. Circular fabric patterns mirror the sandstone of Maria Island, adding flair to cropped tops and tailored jackets. Linear panels, inspired by bold sketches, elongate silhouettes seamlessly. The “Platypus” blouse introduces bell-shaped sleeves, while dresses and coats boast dramatic lengths. Geometric cutouts in dresses like “Australian Little Penguin” and “Cave Spider” pay homage to Tasmania’s architecture, strategically revealing skin. The “Common Wombat” skirt nods to indigenous Australians’ face painting techniques. The palette, inspired by Tasmania’s diverse animals, features deep blues, petrol hues, soft browns, and classic black. Luxurious fabrics ensure warmth without sacrificing style. Teaming up with SANKTOLEONO, silver accessories inspired by plankton shapes add a bioluminescent allure to selected pieces, creating a luminous charm. 2WO+1NE=2’s collection is a tribute to Tasmania’s wonders, offering a blend of nature, culture and sophistication.
