Matrozou apartments are situated within a building of historical significance, reflecting the charm of interwar-style architecture. The structure has a storied past, with its basement dating back to 1912, followed by the addition of the ground and first floors in the 1930s, and the rooftop terrace in the 1980s. Matrozou offers two spacious two-bedroom apartments. One boasts a rooftop terrace with neighborhood views, and the other features a sunken garden. The apartments are graced with high ceilings cadorned with elegant mouldings and a mix of herringbone oak timber, marble terrazzo, and ceramic tiles. Large windows on both sides flood the interiors with natural light and traditional shutters add a touch of heritage charm. Inside, one can discover the exquisite marble craftsmanship of Theodore Psychoyos. The apartments are thoughtfully furnished with hand-picked pieces from Antique and Temporary Showroom, complemented by textiles from Mouki Mou and Ere in Athens. Matrozou is a timeless and sophisticated urban haven, designed by the Molonglo team in collaboration with Royffe Flynn to preserve the past while embracing modern luxury.
