Cachica Bar, named after Kato Koufonisi’s “permanent residents” – the island’s goats, offers signature cocktails and street-inspired casual dishes. Appealing and charming through its natural rawness, the goat’s realm, Ano and Kato Koufonisi in the Cyclades becomes the catalyst for the creation of the new visual identity.
The simplicity of island life, the warm sun-kissed hues, and the playful character of the local goat were the team’s design inspirations for illustration, typography, and branding. The goat’s head composition, with horns resembling a half-moon, embodies the bar’s all-night-long character. The Venetian map of the Small Cyclades influences the typography, with island dots as a reference. Authentic photos from Ano Koufonisi adorn the placemats and exterior signage that is crafted from metal with spacers, playing with sunlight. Inside, illustrator Tania Cimatti’s handcrafted wall paintings add character. Cachica embraces the slow living philosophy, blending leisure and creativity seamlessly.
