2WO+1NE=2 SS 23 collection incorporates design elements inspired by Tinos’ rich heritage in marble sculpture and arts. Combining the luxurious Silk Organza, the Italian Fine Cool Wool with the more down-to-earth Organic Cotton and Tencel, the collection is influenced by the boundaries between Fine and Folklore Art that blend harmoniously into the core identity of the island. A journey through all of Tinos’ beautiful and diverse villages unfolds in a color palette switching between the serene ivory white, sand, -the ever-present- black, and the bold poppy red. Notable highlights include the remarkable village of Volax, the scattered Dovecotes across the island, and the historical art of Basket Weaving, among numerous other enchanting facets that weave together the collection’s narrative.
As the designers mention, “For the first time, we had the pleasure to collaborate with a unique creator, Sevastiana Konstaki, on artifacts that work as embellishments throughout a selection of the collection. Yannoulis Chalepas’ artworks and manipulation of form meet the construction of dry stone walls that divide Tinos’ land and interweave new handcrafted ‘wearable landscapes’”.
