The Latin word ‘navitas’ stands for energy, as well as birth, creation, and zeal; indeed an insightful name for this brand new boutique winery located at the foothills of Mount Olympus and owned by an aspiring young winemaker.
Maria Dimitriadis with deep family wine roots decided to follow her own path a few years ago; a beautiful vineyard of 16 ha became the heart of her passion project. Hard yet well-focused work has started ever since aimed at creating long-lasting relations of mutual respect with the vines, the land, the past, and the possible.
Navitas Winery launched its first wines in May 2021. The full portfolio consists of 6 labels, a homage to mighty Olympus both in terms of winemaking and branding. All wines are single vineyard and single-varietal with vegan certification. Maria”s goal -with the help of young oenologist Grigoris Sotiriadis- is to introduce quality wines of small production that stay true to their land of origin following organic farming and a profound sustainable philosophy in every single thing they do.
