“Universally, art is blossoming across many fields of design while creative minds worldwide are struggling to get exposure and reach a wider audience. Therefore, we launched MANTILITY with a mission to create an eclectic online scarves gallery that provides a platform of expression to artists and offers worldwide meticulously crafted scarves at accessible prices.
We call it “The MANTILITY movement” and we want to offer a creative “garden” for networking, expression, artistic creation and monetization for talented designers from various art fields and to support conscientious shopping habits by offering limited edition silk scarves in unique designs.
MANTILITY is an Art Gallery that sells premium scarves produced in Soufli, Greece from 100% high quality silk.
All our scarves are digitally printed with themes from various designers (Graphic Designers, Painters, Architects, Scenographers, Graffiti Artists, Ceramists and Photographers) blending Art with Fashion. Every design is offered in a limited edition run (50-200 scarves). The final product is placed in a handmade custom MANTILITY box along with a numbered and signed Designer Concept Card.
We see our scarves as noble messengers of silk; a canvas for artists to narrate stories and feelings. Wearing a MANTILITY scarf offers not only the unique feel of a 100% high quality silk artefact but also brings you closer to the exclusive artistic expression of the designer providing pleasure through your senses.
So far we have already partnered with 35 both emerging as well as established artists from all over Greece to make it all happen; Philippos Theodorides, G Design Studio, Rima Lyma, Blaqk, Cacao Rocks, Stratos Kalafatis, Konstantinos Fidanis, Danae Sargologou to name but a few. These are not just artists picked up randomly, but people we respect and value their work and share our MANTILITY values with. We offer them a platform of exhibiting their art and a way to monetize it.
Our vision for the MANTILITY Gallery is to become a meeting point, a new place of authenticity, a multidimensional artistic collectivity; to become the silk thread that unites fauna and flora with people, their art and techniques.”
