This Plastic Surgery Clinic is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. The design by UBU plan aims to enhance the time separation between the cell and the inner processing. The dominant design tools are the light and the projected forms, which interact through the day. The cell is the background and the objects emerge as installation forms. A clear linear light path moves through the space of the clinic while the white walls wrap the designed objects, imitating their texture and color.
Three major elements dominate the space at the reception area. A divided two-dimensional elongated sitting element was designed as an offset of the wall projection. Geometrical schemes and perforated forms using materials such as metal, marble and glass complete the design process in the room. The concept continues to the rest of the spaces creating a cohesive aesthetic for the clinic.
