Exallo produces handcrafted wooden bow ties, cuff-links and phone cases that aim to provide the perfect accent to a man’s wardrobe, with timeless designs that are personal and stylish. The company was formed by Leonidas and Haralambos Souras, whose affinity for wood was fostered in their father’s carpentry studio in Greece. Growing up in a maker’s environment, these two brothers learned the values of quality, sustainability, and perfectionism at an early age. The Exallo concept is based on four fundamental principles: redefinition of the value of wood, aesthetically-driven design, sustainably-sourced materials, and craftsmanship of the highest quality.
All products are cut and finished by hand, using locally-produced olive oil and beeswax. The majority of Exallo accessories are crafted with recycled or reclaimed wood, and this allows each piece to reveal the ‘stories’ hidden within it. The Exallo workshop is located on the rolling foothills of Mount Olympus. The company makes every effort to minimize the environmental impact of its products, as it strives to keep a low-carbon footprint from the first stage of the production process to the final packaging. Exallo’s philosophy, «In Wood We Trust» is a promise to honor the spirit and substance of the materials used, by providing the highest standard of design, quality and craftsmanship.
