The Athina Korda AW15 collection ‘ANTI THESIS’ is inspired by the antithesis that lies in our external and internal environment. Internal antithesis becomes a motivation for internal evolution, for spiritual and emotional reformation, and it constantly challenges us by placing us in a process of personal reconsideration. Through this journey we evolve, even if this evolution takes part at a subconscious level. Through the unique perspective of the designer, controversial feelings, materials and textures all lead to the formation of the “Whole”. The main color of the collection is black, whereas simplicity, vivid geometrical lines, and controversial textiles define every item. All these are harmonically combined with each other in a way that preserves elegance, injecting at the same time a particular style into every woman. All the elements of the collection are controversial, yet operating as a whole the result to a unique outcome.
