This is an apartment building located in the suburbs of Athens that overlooks the Argosaronic Sea and is defined by a clever bioclimatic design and a calm and tranquil atmosphere. Its main features are a roof garden with an unobstructed view of the sea, a swimming pool smoothly surrounding the building, and a small pond on the ground floor. An atrium provides light to the secondary areas of the apartments and acts as an extract for warm air in the summer months.
The bioclimatic design and the south orientation of the building reduce the thermal energy requirements in winter, while the surrounding water creates a natural cooling system for the building’s structure in summer.
The building is equipped with environmentally friendly technologies for energy saving, and all the materials used for its construction have low carbon footprints.
The sculptures of Gianni Aspras on the walls of the living rooms complete the abstract yet warm emotions brought upon by the interior design of the spaces.
